Working together we can improve the financial literacy of Tennessee's youth! The Tennessee Jump$tart Coalition is a non-profit organization comprised of over 26 individuals and organizations representing business, government and education who have joined together to improve the personal financial literacy of Tennessee's youth.
Tennessee Jump$tart Coalition's goals:
- Raise public awareness.
- Enhance professional development of Tennessee educators (school and nontraditional).
- Promote membership, communication and cooperation among coalition members.
- Establish firm organizational structure including budget.
- Develop and promote personal finance legislation.
Tennessee Jump$tart understands how important financial literacy is for the future of the economic welfare of Tennessee. For this reason, we are always looking for ways to educate young Tennesseans in underserved communities about personal finance topics.
